In August 2021, The Trust recruited a new CEO and board of Trustees and relaunched Enthusiasm in March 2022.
In 2021, the charity was relaunched with a new CEO and board of trustees who are injecting renewed ‘enthusiasm’ into the organisation in preparation for a relaunch in March 2022.
This means Enthusiasm has expanded its work reaching out to young people providing clubs, workshops, homework support, one-to-one mentoring programmes, delivering programmes in schools for those young people at risk of exclusion and working with parents and families to offer opportunities to gain skills, employment, knowledge, and experience from a variety of activities.
Mission
To provide a safe place and opportunities for young people and their communities to develop life skills needed to enable social mobility.
Vision
To give every young person the opportunity to reach their true potential whatever their life circumstances.
Our Values
Inclusivity
We provided opportunities for those who might otherwise be excluded or marginalised by creating a sense of community.
Trust
We believe trust is a strong foundation in which organic relationships will grow with our young people.
Compassion
We take the time to understand and consider the feeling of young people no matter what their circumstances.

Our new priorities for maxiumum impact
01.
To prevent and divert vulnerable young people from exploitation and criminal activity
We raise aspirations and resilience by holding youth activities every weekday evening and summer holidays throughout the year. our mentoring programme will reach the most vulnerable young people to help them develop life skill and resilience . We realise that it is vital to build on the partnerships we already have with the police, youth justice and other stakeholders. We will hold an annual event to encourage young people to become the custodians of their own environment working collaboratively with youth workers, community safety officers and other stakeholders to high light hot spots of anti-social behaviour and criminal activity diverting potential perpetrators or victims to the youth club.
02.
Create a sense of community and belonging
We will work together with other organisations who can best support the young people in our community. In addition, our Youth Voice representatives will hold regular forums with young people who attend Enthusiasm and those in the community who may not yet have reached out to the organisation. Our Community Voice representatives will increase awareness of the services available, gathering information about the challenges they face to co creating, co designing and co deliver activities that appeal to the demographic we hope to attract. We will extend our services to the wider community building on our mother and carers club family events and trips. Everything we do will be delivered with trust and empathy to forging long lasting relationships.
03.
Create pathways to education and employment
We will hold regular employment and education events for young people and their communities by working with local employers, training providers and recruitment services. We will offer education support and access to nationally recognised qualifications, our links with the schools will be strengthened through a variety of activities so we capture those young people at risk of exclusion by offering early interventions.
